All our Suites are ideally suited for 2 Adult Guests.  Space permitting, additional guests(non- adult) can be accommodated in Suites for an additional charge of  $18.00 per night per person.
 Our Inn is very Modern, built in 1996, not a renovated "Victorian Era home".
Our B&B/Inn is not filled with "collectibles", so that our Guests have more room to enjoy their stay!
We also offer the use of a Sauna, there is a Charge of $8.50  per use, suited for two people

With pride and excitement we polish, decorate, bake, carve and deck the halls. Holiday aromas waft from the kitchen. Be lazy and leisurely or get out there and throw a snowball. Ski, skate, sled, or snowshoe, then return from your adventures to warm yourself with a cup of tea or a glass of wine. Our dining room is set year round, sparkling silverware and white linens. The menus include classical selections plus innovative cuisine. All baking and desserts are made at the Inn. We use prime fresh ingredients. Gourmet dinners are beautifully presented in an old world ambiance that is the perfect backdrop for romance, relaxation and camaraderie.

Summer at the Forest Haven Inn is easy; the sun sizzles with a cool Northumberland breeze.
 Start the morning with our hearty country breakfast and a jog, stroll or bike ride on the 311 Loop Road, a delightful country road. At the Inn, we have marked trails, and a private 9 hole golf course. We are happy to make golf reservations for you at the Northumberland Links or one of the many wonderful courses in this part of Nova Scotia.

In the afternoon, hike the Cobequid Mountains, shop in Tatamagouche or just relax and lounge on your covered balcony.  As evening approaches, enjoy the colorful gardens, or a late day stroll. There is a spiritual satisfaction in this beauty. The Forest Haven Inn nurtures the arts and creativity.  We are very knowledgeable about Tatamagouche, the Northumberland Shore, Nova Scotia and are able to assist you with directions, suggestions for local entertainment or sightseeing.
We have a sincere interest in making sure your visit to Forest Haven Inn / Bed and Breakfast and Nova Scotia, is without problems or stress by providing a personalized vacation, an alternative to the often impersonal hotel-style settings.

Our Inn / Bed and Breakfast

Forest Haven Inn offers  accommodations, all with 3 pc private bath as a minimum. Our Inn was designed to serve the traveler and vacationer. Most of our rooms are on the upper level and one is on the Ground Floor. A common corridor provides access to all rooms as well as the dining room.
Our guests are all required to check in when they arrive. The Tourism Act requires us to get your Name, number of people in your party, address, car type and license plate number. You are given a key for your room, this key can also be used to open the front door. Checkout time is by 10:30 A.M., check in is after 4 P.M.  Your bill is usually prepared so that it is ready when you leave in the morning, any extra charges are included on this bill. Most of our customers pay with credit card, and we do require your credit card when you make your reservation, as well as when you check in.

Phone Calls

Local and toll-free calls are free, for long distance calls we can work with the operator to get the cost of the call, or  suggest the use of a calling card. We do have phone lines into our rooms, unfortunately, we have only one line available for our guests, so if you require a phone line to your room for computer use, please advise us and we will make every effort to accommodate you. If you expect an incoming call please bear in mind we are not available to answer the phone 24 Hrs a day.

Breakfast

We serve breakfast between 8 and 9:30 A.M. We always serve a hot breakfast, and try to cater to each person individually, we offer the freshest of "kitchen cracked eggs", fresh juice, tea or coffee, pancakes, bacon, cereal, toast. These are the staples of our breakfast. Breakfast is a wonderful chance for you to speak with our other guests and make plans for your day in Tatamagouche. If you have special dietary needs, please inform us before your arrival so that we may prepare something especially for you.

Dinner

 Dinner is served between 5 and 7:30 P.M daily. We would like to extend you the opportunity to Book Dinner along with your stay. We offer 4 choices for the Main Course as well as tea or coffee.  Click here for further information.
